YouTube Video with Companion Ads from Google Video Units

Couple days ago, I written a post about Start to Make Money with Google Video. Today, I am sharing more while I am learning what's about Video Units from Google. This new service from Google and YouTube should be the next online ads standard - at this moment, non of the online video service provider like Yahoo, Metacafe or Revver are offering video + ads for their publishers or advertisers.

Video Units is a part of Google's Products and Features that allow members to enrich their web content with the video units at the same time to help publishers generate extra income.

According to Google, publishers have to place a video unit on their website just like other Google Product that required a space in your site to publisher the ads. Ads on video units can be paid on either a cost-per-click or cost-per-thousand impression basis - this is something old fashion way like Google AdSense but appear in video units mode.

There are two types of ads formats appear with the video content within the player. Google call it Companion Ads - a new term to learn!! Below is how the Video Units look like and please take note of the Companion Ads at the top and bottom of the Video Units.

However, at this moment, only one unit of Video Units is allow for each page. So, please beware of this rule.
